Applesauce

We made applesauce together in K1 on Friday. The kids did every aspect of it, including the cutting (we cut wedges and then they used plastic knives to cut small pieces). We included numeracy and literacy by counting apples, using words like more or less, measurement for ingredients, and used sequencing words in both languages for describing the steps. We ended with eating the delicious applesauce. Many kids wanted a second and third helping!
